Digital transformation of manufacturing industry ushers in an era of great growth

2023/05/24

Different people have different understandings and definitions of intelligent manufacturing. Intelligent manufacturing, as understood by Saibaijun, is a process of "human intelligence into machine intelligence" and related activities - that is, to refine human intelligence (referred to as "human intelligence") from tacit knowledge in the brain into explicit knowledge, after formatting, modelling and algorithmic processing, and then write the modelled knowledge (mechanism model, data analysis model, etc.) into software, which is embedded in the software. The software is embedded in a chip, the chip is embedded in a digital device/module, and the digital device/module is embedded in a physical device, thus giving the machine a certain degree of autonomy and making it "intelligent" to a certain extent. "We call this process "empowerment". This process is the fusion of advanced information and communication technologies with industrial elements, the result of which is the not so easily understood "Cyber-Physical System (CPS)".

The better the software algorithms, the greater the arithmetic power of the equipment and the more industrial data, the higher the level of "intelligence". When the "intelligence" reaches a certain level, it has the ability to partially or completely replace the human body/human brain. When the human body/human brain has left the system circuit of the workplace, the machine can still work as autonomously as a human being in the field, or even better, optimising the allocation of manufacturing resources.
